Description
Vintage 1935 El Machete "Trabajadores: Impidamos Desfilen Los Dorados" Cover. This issue was published in November 20, 1935, with the main image being illustrated by Luis Arenal, depicting the working class fighting imperialists. Headline articles include "Los Cristeros Piden la Intervención Yanqui" and "Adelante la Revolución Mexicana".
"El Machete" served as the official newspaper for the Mexican Communist Party, founded in 1924 by Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siquieros and contributors included Diego Rivera, Xavier Guerrero, and José Clemente Orozco.
