Large carved and painted wood crucifix with gold leaf accents depicting Jesus Christ on the cross. Estimated to be early 18th century from North Central Mexico.

45.625"H x 26.5"W x 7.375"Depth.
Condition
Very good condition. INRI (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews), plaque at top is missing. Wood splitting at the head, fingers are broken off and knee has paint loss, see photos.
