Description
A Retablo oil painting on tin depicting the Veil of Veronica. Deriving from Roman Catholic legend, Saint Veronica encountered Jesus in Jerusalem during her passage to Calvary, and when he stopped to wipe sweat of his face with her veil, his image was left on the veil. The painting features Jesus' head, wearing the Crown of Thorns. "El Divino Rostro" is painted on the bottom. Two holes on the top and one hole on the bottom for wall hanging.

Condition
Good condition. A small piece of the top left corner is clipped and oxidation on edges, see photos.
