Early 20th Century Barbones masks, or "bearded men" masks, are known for their intricate detailed carvings on the beard, often featuring long beards. Originating from Guerrero, Mexico, these well carved masks were highly sought by tourists for their exceptional craftsmanship and their decorative appeal.
